Happy Black Hipstery Month

I'm kinda late jumpin' on this Black Hipstery thing, but I thought it was important to take a second to recognize the milestone achievements of black people in the field of music, entertainment, and fashion.

First up, a pioneer of not only mainstream blipster culture, but also a pillar of whipster (or white hipster) fashion and the basis of everything American Apparel makes for men, Urkel.

Aside from from the look, Urkel paved the way for 'nerds' to look 'cool' and their presence to be 'tolerable'.

Next up, the pre-cursor to Kanye West, a man who made outrageous haircuts and even more outrageous public appearances a staple of blipster culture, Dennis Rodman.

And finally, for his achievements in brigding racial divides, David 'Ram Jam' Roddigan.

Its like looking into Diplo's Future. Anyways, support your local Blipster by buying a Dilla tape, or convincing a young trendy black male to dropout of college and be the next big thing.
